WANT TO LOSE RIVER RANCH?

The state IS going to take our land unless we ALL band together to stop it. This can be done if EVERY land deed holder signs the LIMITED Power of Attorney. (see explanation below) This Limited Power of Attorney gives our attorney the ability to speak for us at the state level as one entity. That's all it does.

YOU DO NOT GIVE UP CONTROL OF YOUR PROPERTY.

The state has already agreed to this and if we get everyone on board, the state has agreed to take us off the list of Critical Property.

BRING YOUR DEED to the Ranch and we will help you fill out the LPA correctly. Deed owner must show id.

How much did you pay for your land? 1000, 5000, 10,000 or more? Guess what? The state will only give you a few hundred bucks for it! Sign the LPA!

Think I'm kidding? Guess again. The state has already purchased approx. 32,000 acres of the 74,000 they eventually want. They are knocking on our door!

Limited Power of Attorney (LPA)

"In our continuing fight with the state to remove River Ranch from their list of Critical Property, our attorney has been working with the state on a limited power of attorney document. This document was finally approved by the state in November and we need to go over this with members.

The limited power of attorney gives the RRPOA lawyer, Scott Fitzpatrich the right to ask the DEP to take your poperty off the list. That is the ONLY right that you are giving Scott Fitzpatrick and it is revocable at any time.
YOU ARE NOT GIVING UP CONTROL OF YOUR PROPERTY!

The reason for the limited power of attorney is that we would like to pool all properties from our members and RRPOA and collectively ask to be taken off the list with the hope that we could be the largest land owner within the area of interest for the DEP.

Please make sure to attend your district and general meetings for more information regarding this. Your directors have a copy of the limited power of attorney for you to review and you can also ask the front gate for a copy. This is probably our best chance to permanently remove River Ranch from the DEP Critical List. Your support is very important for this. Also please note that this gives Scott Fitzpatrich only the right to ask for your property to be removed. He will have NO OTHER RIGHTS to your property whatsoever. Also, this is revocable at any time meaning that you can decide to take away this right at anytime that you so desire for any reason that you desire."
